You are totally right! Becoming a mentor is so important in the body of Christ. We need to edify each other and hold each other up in prayer and with actions. Having someone quote a Bible quote may encourage one, but having someone roll up their sleeves and actually toil with you is a whole different story!

How come secular artist are now being supported by you and christian music stores, I know Susan Boyle is a great singer but remember how the secular world has been taking over by sneaking in under false pretense. Remember how our schools were and we opened the door for everything. We are seling ourself out for money. True gospel artist have no place for secular music in there life unless its for money.

Does someone pay you for this? If so please give them their money back and return to your day job! How silly can you get, sorry, I already know that answer. So you think you can draw fans by singing on the beach. with no sound system, or city permit. I hope no one takes your advise, if so I hope they call you when they are arrested!

Simple answer...No. Nobody is perfect. So, does practice help make fewer mistakes? Generally yes. All the time? No.

I noticed the end of the post said "practice can make perfect" I feel you need to go up a step. Perfect practice will make perfect. If your technique is flawed, your practice is flawed. For example, If your practice singing in your throat. All your going to accomplish is get better at doing it wrong. Get with a great vocal coach. Learn great vocal habits, then practice, practice, practice. Another thing (my pet peeve) Learn how to use a microphone correctly. Most talent sings close to the microphone for loud and soft notes. Learn what close-proximity effect is and how to use it to your advantage.

This is a great post. I always seem to omit planning my goals and roadmap, but I know it is an extremely important thing to do if you really want to accomplish something.
